Fossatrappo, also known as the sherpa staircase up to Kattnakken, runs up the steep mountainside of Fossabrekko in Stord municipality. The staircase consists of about 450-500 steps and was completed in 2016.

At the top of Fossabrekko/Kvelve you can also head south toward Stovegolvet.

Uncertain whether the staircase sections are drawn correctly, or whether some are missing. Tips are appreciated.

If you want a loop, you can follow the road back down from Kattnakken. A loop of about 4.6 km with 330 meters of elevation gain.
