Tyventrappa is a stone staircase, built by sherpas from Nepal between 2021 and 2024. The staircase has about 700 steps and leads up to Tyven, 418 metres above sea level, and the day-trip cabin Tyvenhytta. Rest stops have also been built along the route. The staircase sections themselves are divided into 4 parts and total about 200 metres. Local stone from the area around the trail was used.
Round trip about 5.7 km with 370 metres of elevation gain.
