Bitihorn, at 1,607 m, is a distinctive mountain just above Beitostølen. There are several trails to the summit, but Bitihødntrøppe is the shortest and steepest, and may feel exposed for some. If you'd prefer a gentler route up Bitihorn, the trail from the north is an alternative.
Staircases have been built on certain sections of the trail. Based on aerial photos, the staircases add up to about 365 meters in total.
