Staircase facts
At Bjørnhollia in Rondane National Park, in Sel municipality, a stone staircase about 200 meters long has been built to reduce further erosion caused by heavy foot traffic on the trail. Around 100 tons of stone were flown in by helicopter, since stone could not be taken from within the national park itself.
