Bruviknipa, also called Brøknipa, is the second-highest peak on Osterøy at 822 m, beaten only by Høgafjellet at 868 m. The hike starts from the parking area at Båtaleitet. In addition to staircases, the trail has been improved with boardwalks over wet areas. The stone staircases add up to about 250 meters.
The hike up to Bruviknipa is about 5.2 km and 480 meters of elevation gain round trip.
