A trail improvement project leading up to Norway's highest-situated tourist cabin, Fannaråkhytta at 2068 m above sea level. The staircase is not a continuous staircase and is not drawn precisely on the map.
Round trip from Turtagrø is about 16 km with 1240 meters of elevation gain.
