Hornelen is an iconic mountain peak in Bremanger municipality in Vestland and is Europe's highest sea cliff. In the lower part of the path, stone slabs and steps have been laid in wet sections. This lower section is about 270 m long. The path is also said to have been improved further up, but I'm not sure exactly where this is or how long it is. Tips are appreciated.
NOTE: There are several crevasses not far from the main path to Hornelen, and there have been fatal accidents linked to these. Follow the posted warnings.
There is also a via ferrata at Hornelen.
Round trip is about 12.5 km and 1200 meters of elevation gain.
This staircase's position hasn't been registered yet.
