Hovdenuten is a 1119-meter-high mountain in Bykle municipality, Agder. The sherpa staircases run up the path on the south side of the mountain up to the day-trip cabin.
There is no parking at the trailhead, so it is recommended to park in the town center or at the ski center. If you want a round trip, you can follow the path down on the north side.
Round trip from the ski center is about 5.6 km and 320 meters of elevation gain.
