Hovdetrappa i Skurdalen

Hovdetrappa is a wooden staircase in Hol municipality, Buskerud. The wooden staircase consists of 975 steps and stretches 360 meters up the hillside with a 90-meter elevation difference.

1700 volunteer work hours were put in before the staircase had its official opening on 23.08.2025. Thor Gotaas had the honor of cutting the twig. He also said this was the first and last time he would show up in flip-flops for a stair race.

Round trip is about 1.8 km and 150 meters of elevation gain.
