Hovlandsnuten is a distinctive mountain in Sauda municipality, Rogaland. The summit reaches 931 meters above sea level. The hike is popular, and uphill races have been held here since 2007. On the way up you pass through "Eventyrskogen" (the Fairytale Forest), where there are several well-known characters from Norwegian folk tales, including a lean-to shelter. In 2016 a cabin was built at the summit. The sherpa staircases here were built in 2014, and improved in 2022. There is also talk of another expansion, since it can get muddy in certain spots during wet periods.

The hike is about 13.5 km and 950 meters of elevation gain.
