Keiservarden is a popular mountain in Bodø, Nordland, at 366 meters above sea level. In 2016, Nepalese sherpas built stone staircases on this popular mountain path. The view from the top over Bodø, the sea, and the surrounding mountains is spectacular. Queen Sonja inaugurated the new path on June 19, 2016.

It's not easy to see exactly where the staircase is on aerial photos, so if you have local knowledge, help is appreciated.

Round trip: about 5.2 km and 240 meters of elevation gain.
