Kvernberget

Kvernberget is a small mountain right by Kristiansund town center, 205 meters high.

On the round trip there are three main sections with stairs; the longest starts down from the road and goes all the way up to Kvernberget. This section is 860 meters long. The other two are about 100 meters each. In addition to these three, slabs/short staircases have also been laid in a couple of other spots. In total, stone staircases/slabs make up about 1142 meters of the hike. The sherpa staircases were built in 2022.

The round trip is about 2.1 km and 150 meters of elevation gain.
