Laksetrappa on Siggjo is a sherpa staircase project with 940 stone steps leading up to Bømlo's highest mountain at 474 meters. The sherpa staircases were built by sherpas from Nepal, commissioned by Bømlo Turlag. The first construction phase started in 2021, and 462 steps were built. The second construction phase was financed by the local fish-farming industry, and the staircase was thus named "Laksetrappo" (the Salmon Staircase).
Round trip about 4.6 km and 400 meters of elevation gain.
