"Sabotørstien" follows part of the route used when the heavy water plant at Vemork was blown up in 1943. Along the route, several information boards have been put up telling the story. There is parking at both ends (at Krokanbekken), so it may be a good idea to leave a car at each end if you don't want to walk back along the road.
At the north end, a sherpa staircase was built in 2019. It's uncertain exactly where this starts and how long it is. Tips are appreciated.
The round trip with return along the road is about 9.5 km and 350 meters of elevation gain.
