On the trail from Nedalshytta towards Storylen in Tydal, Trøndelag, sections of sherpa staircases were built to reduce erosion and help hikers more easily cross wet areas. The stone staircases were built in 2019 and are about 135 metres long in total. In addition to the stone staircases, large quantities of boardwalk have also been laid out across the lower boggy sections.

Round trip to Storsylen is about 23 km with 1,300 metres of elevation gain.
