We've chosen to include some staircases that aren't "classic sherpa staircases", since wood and metal staircases can obviously serve the same purpose — making it easier for people to get up into the mountains. Vegatrappa and Midnattsoltrappa are good examples of staircases that do the same job as a "classic sherpa staircase", just in wood.

Trimtrappa in Prestlia is a Y-shaped staircase with 312 steps, 135 metres long, taking you up 46 metres in elevation. The staircase is lit.
About 3 kilometres of planks and 13,000 screws are said to have been used.
