Veten

Sherpas from Nepal have been here for several summers, building a staircase up to Veten. Construction started in November 2021 and was completed in 2026. There are said to be about 1,500 steps. In some wet sections, the trail has been improved with gravel. At the top, a stone decking area and stone benches have also been built. The stone used was sourced from Sveio.

There is little information available on exactly where the staircase runs and how long the sections are. I'd appreciate any tips.

The hike is about 4.5 km with 170 metres of elevation gain.
