Staircase facts
Vikersundbakken, together with the hill in Planica, is the world's largest ski flying hill. You can climb the 1,078 steps from the bottom of the hill up to the top of Vingen and enjoy the view over Vikersund.
A popular choice is to walk up the stairs and follow the road back down — a round trip of about 3 km with 220 metres of elevation gain.
